Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College head volleyball coach Ken King announced on Tuesday afternoon that Allegra Lee Bell (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Le Moyne and play for the Dolphins in 2013.

Bell, a four-year letterwinner, helped the Bees to four Section III Class AA championships and four New York State Class AA championship match berths. As a sophomore, Bell helped the Bees capture the state championship. Bell was selected to the All-League and All-Central New York teams three times. She was also selected to the NYS Class AA All-State team twice. A high honor roll student at C.W. Baker High, Bell also is a member of the Bees' Varsity Crew team.
"Allegra will be a very strong addition to our team," said King. "She brings a high level of skill to the court as well as a very positive attitude. I have had the pleasure of watching her dominate many high school and club matches, so I know that the potential is there to be the same type of player at the next level."
Le Moyne finished the 2012 season with a record of 16-11, including a mark of 7-8 in Northeast-10 Conference play and a tie for eighth place in the conference standings.
