Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season with a 6-3 loss to Edinboro University on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at the Skytop Tennis Courts.

Edinboro won all three of the doubles matches. RyAnne' Baldwin and Kendal Stevens teamed to post an 8-4 win over senior Rebecca Black (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) and sophomore Margaret LaFleur (Darien Center, N.Y./Attica) at first doubles. Oranza Carrillo and Jaclyn Piscsalko registered an 8-1 win, topping sophomore Dominique Canale (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego/Arcadia) and freshman Allison Jones (Utica, N.Y./Notre Dame) at second doubles. At third doubles, Margaret Erven and Lydia Browne defeated junior Kristine Kenny (Baytown, Texas/Ross S. Sterling-Baytown) and sophomore Jessica Geary (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) by a score of 8-3.

In singles action, Carrillo recorded a 6-2, 6-2 win over Black at the top spot, while Baldwin posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles over Kenny. Stevens was victorious at third singles over Canale 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.  The Dolphins managed to win the final three singles matches. LaFleur defeated Piscsalko 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, in fourth singles, while Jones picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win over Erven in fifth singles. At the sixth spot, junior Kelly Falconer (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) downed Midori Yamazaki 6-0, 6-0.

Le Moyne (1-6, 1-4 NE-10) opens its spring season at home on Sunday, February 24 against Daemen at 1:00 p.m. at Gold's Gym.
