WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS HOME MATCH WITH STONEHILL, 9-0

DeWitt, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team fell to Stonehill, 9-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match on Saturday afternoon at Gold's Gym.

Paige Frost and Bailey Paradiso opened the match by winning at first doubles, 8-2, over senior Rebecca Black (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) and sophomore Dominique Canale (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego/Arcadia). At second doubles, Meryl Lawrence and Analise Kump registered an 8-1 victory over sophomore Margaret LaFleur (Darien Center, N.Y./Attica) and freshman Allison Jones (Utica, N.Y./Notre Dame). Kirsti Toegemann and Olivia Schneider teamed at third doubles to defeat junior Kristine Kenny (Baytown, Texas/Ross S. Sterling-Baytown) and sophomore Jessica Geary (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse), 8-3.

Paradiso led off singles play with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Black at the top spot. Kump picked up a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Kenny at second singles, while Lawrence posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Canale at the third spot. At fourth singles, Frost registered an 8-0 win over LaFleur. Toegemann defeated Geary at the fifth spot, 8-0, while Kaitlyn Martin closed out the match with an 8-2 win at sixth singles over Jones.

Le Moyne (1-4, 1-3 NE-10) returns to action on Sunday against Southern New Hampshire at 11:00 a.m.
