SHORTHANDED WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO ROCHESTER 9-0

ROCHESTER, NY - Shorthanded due to injury, the women's tennis team fell to Rochester on Sunday 9-0 in their first dual meet of the spring. Le Moyne falls to 2-7 on the season.

Rochester earned three points on default victories. The Dolphins only had four players and defaulted at third doubles, fifth and sixth singles.

Lia Weiner was a double winner for Rochester as was Colleen Cross. Weiner won, 6-0, 6-2, at first singles and teammed with Alexa Perry for an 8-5 win at first doubles.

Cross was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at second singles. She won, 8-2, at second doubles, paired with Elana Polivy. The other singles wins were earned by Diane Samuels (4-6, 6-1, 10-3) at third singles and by Kristen Shaw, 6-2, 6-1, at fourth singles.
