DOLPHINS FALL 8-1 TO MERRIMACK
SYRAUCSE, NY-Shorthanded due to injury, the Dolphins gave it there all. The Dolphins were defeated 8-1 to Merrimack at home Sunday. The loss drops the Dolphins to 2-14, (2-10 NE-10). Merrimack defeated Le Moyne by default in two single competitions and one double competition.
In doubles competition, Clare Wittmeier and Sabrina Megali were defeated in a hard fought match to the Warriors. Wittmeier and Megali were able to get on the board early; despite losing 2-8. Wittmeier was able to defeat Stellina Saia in single competition 6-1, 6-1. Wittmeier was dominant throughout the entire match over powering Saia in all facets of her game.
The Dolphins end their season 2-14 overall (2-10 NE-10).
