Le Moyne Athletics : Cortland sours Le Moyne opener, 7-2

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior Laurie Dorscheid and junior Amanda Husson teamed for a win at first doubles and captured singles wins at the top two spots as Cortland (3-0) topped Le Moyne 7-2 in a non-conference women’s tennis match at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex.
Dorscheid and Husson paired for an 8-2 win over Nicole Beaubriand and Molly Harnden at first doubles. Dorscheid edged Beaubriand 6-0, 6-2 at first singles and Husson cruised past Danielle Roux 6-0, 6-1 at the second singles spot.

Le Moyne (0-1) earned one win at singles as Hanna Renna defeated Katie Finn 8-3 at the No. 6 spot. Mallory Desimone and Sabrina Megali won 9-8 (7-4) at third singles for the Dolphins.
