Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Tom Ferrigno, Bryant (Jr., West Chester, Pa.) - Placed first in three events in a tri-meet against Clark University and Gordon College. Finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:11.03), the 100-yard backstroke (56.36) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:01.26).

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Allison Lesher, Le Moyne (Sr., Sherrill, N.Y.) – In the win over Bentley, finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.50), 100-yard butterfly (1:01.30) and the 200-yard IM (2:14.42).

Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Jon Andrews, Bentley (Fr., Southbury, Conn.) - Captured both diving events to help Bentley to a 148.5-145.5 win at Le Moyne. Had winning scores of 175.95 and 255.15, both on the one-meter board. With a combined 431.10, set a school record, breaking the previous standard by a half-point.

Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Emily Travers, Bentley (Fr., Brentwood, N.H.) - Swept the two diving events in a 168-120 loss at Le Moyne, with scores of 136.10 and 184.70, both off the one-meter board.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Ryosuke Kameyama, Pace (Fr., Goshen, N.Y.) - Posted three first place finishes in a dual meet against Lehman. Won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.62. Took first place in the 100-yard breast stroke with a time of 1:10.14 and swam to a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.16.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Jill Hira, Bryant (Fr., Cheshire, Conn.) - Won both the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.65) and the 100-yard freestyle (57.37) in a home meet against Assumption College, Husson College and Eastern Connecticut State University en route to the first of two Bryant wins. Also took the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.63) and 500-yard freestyle (5:30.37) in a win over Clark University and Gordon College. Swam in the 200-yard freestyle relay that took second Saturday.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Arden Brust, Bentley (Sr., Newark, N.Y.) - Was a triple-winner in Bentley's 168-120 loss at Le Moyne, capturing the 1000 freestyle (11:15.18), the 100 back (1:05.04) and the 200 back (2:19.09). Also helped Bentley to a second-place finish in the 200 yard medley relay, posting a time of 30.10 over the first leg.

Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (Fr., Dedham, Mass.) - In a 168-120 loss at Le Moyne, finished second in the 200 butterfly (a school-record 2:15.23), the 200 individual medley (2:19.55) and the 100 butterfly (1:01.67), and also was a member of the Falcons' 200 medley relay team that finished second (1:56.28).

Mike Gilligan, Bryant (Fr., Cheshire, Conn.) - Finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.95) and the 200-yard freestyle (50.14) in the tri-meet with Clark University and Gordon College to lead Bryant to their second win of the season. Also anchored the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team.

Amy Howell, Bryant (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Took first in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:16.54) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.77) in wins over Clark and Gordon College. Took first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.27) in the Bulldog’s win over Assumption, Eastern Connecticut and Husson. Took second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:05.69).

Jess Looney, Bryant (So., Goffstown, N.H.) - Placed first in the 200-yard IM (2:20.40) and second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.40). Also anchored No. 2 200-yard freestyle relay. Won the 200-yard IM (2:20.94) and 1000-yard freestyle (11:11.10) en route to two team wins.

Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (Jr., Liverpool, N.Y.) - Won three individual races in the 148.5 – 145-5 setback against Bentley. Finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.55), the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.78) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:08.25).

Ryan Lowrie, Le Moyne (Sr., Johnson City, N.Y.) – Won three individual races in the 148.5-145.5 setback against Bentley. Finished first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.74), the 100-yard freestyle (49.57) and the 100-yard butterfly (55.07).

Craig McClintock, Pace (Jr., Valhalla, N.Y.) - Posted a pair of first place finishes, taking the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:44.42 and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.04.

Erin Johanson, Pace (So., Wakefield, Mass.) - Took home a pair of first place finishes in a dual meet win over Lehman. Won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:26.28 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.98.
Meaghan Morley, Pace (Sr., Delhi, N.Y.) - Took home a pair of first place finishes in a dual meet win over Lehman. Won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:08.83 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.80.

Brandon Birchak, Saint Rose (Sr., Latham, N.Y.) - Accumulated 497.15 points on the one-meter board to lead Saint Rose over Utica.

Michael Buyes, Saint Rose (Sr., Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) - Registered a pair of first place finishes as the Golden Knights took top honors in all but two individual events at Utica. Placed first in the 200 free in 1:51.59 and went on to capture the 500 free in 5:06.83.

Mary Hall, Saint Rose (So., Greencastle, Pa.) - Recorded two first place finishes to help lead Saint Rose to a 123-104 victory at Utica. Won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a winning time of 12:03.37 and also hit the wall in 5:48.77 to capture the 500 free.

Christine Lockwood, Saint Rose (Fr., Binghamton, N.Y.) - Swam the second leg on the winning 200 medley relay team and also won the 200 individual medley to lead Saint Rose over Utica. Hit the wall in 2:24.21 to capture the 200 IM by eight seconds over the next closest competitor and helped the relay to a 2:03.18 clocking.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Freshman Anne Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass.), in just her second meet as a collegian, broke the school record in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:15.23 Saturday at Le Moyne. That bettered the former standard by exactly a second. Freshman Jon Andrews’ combined score of 431.10 on Saturday set a school record, breaking the previous standard by a half-point.
