ALISON LESHER WINS 500 FREE, DOLPHINS THIRD AFTER OPENING DAY AT NYSWCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Junior All-America Alison Lesher (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) won the 500 free in a time of 5:07.15 in the opening day of the NYSWCAA Swimming & Diving Championship at Nottingham High School Pool. The Dolphins are third in the team competition after the opening day of the three-day event.

200 Free Relay - Ithaca (Jen Heberton, Nikki Gundersen, Jovanna Hart, Shannon Archer) 1:38.60; 500 Free - Alison Lesher (Le Moyne) 5:07.15; 200 IM - Emily Lesher (Nazareth) 2:07.38; 50 Free - Jen Heberton (Ithaca) 24.76; 400 Medley Relay - Union (Amy Nestlerode, Brianne Phillips, Sydnie Wells, Christa White) 3:58.75;
