Ricky Chidsey and Alison Lesher named Northeast-10 Swimming Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Le Moyne College swimmers Ricky Chidsey and Alison Lesher were named the Northeast-10 Conference Swimming Athletes for the week of March 12th.

Sophomore Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (Liverpool, NY) - Recorded a 10th and 12th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Men's Swimming and Diving Championship. The 10th place finish with a time of 51.10 in the 100-yard back registered seven team points. Garnered three team points with a time of 1:52.57.

Junior Alison Lesher, Le Moyne (Sherrill, NY) - At the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championship, had a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Finished in 2:03.72, just six-tenths of a second behind national champion Janelle Slatter of Drury. Lesher has achieved All-America status in the 200 butterfly at each of the last two national championships. Last season, Lesher finished fifth in the 200 butterfly to become the program's first to gain All-America status, touching in a time of 2:05.71.
