LE MOYNE'S ALISON LESHER NAMED NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Le Moyne College junior Alison Lesher (Sherrill, N.Y./V-V-S) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week. Lesher won three events in a dual meet win over Hartwick.
Lesher, a Division II All-America last season, won the the 200-yard (1:57.16), 500-yard (5:15.27) and 1000-yard free (10:40.63). Her times in the 200 and 500 were her best in those events this season.
Freshman Nicole Murphy (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) was named to the conference honor roll She also won three events - the 200-yard IM (2:18.75), 100-yard free (57.14) and 200-yard breast (2:33.04).
Le Moyne travels to St. Lawrence for a meet on Saturday.
