Kansas City, Kan. – Le Moyne College senior forward Christie Morano (Highland, N.Y./Highland) has been named to the NSCAA women's soccer East Region Second Team, as voted upon and released by the association.

Morano, a repeat selection to the second team, is the first player in the program's history to be recognized by the NSCAA three times. A third team honoree in 2010, Morano led the Dolphins with 25 points on 11 goals and three assists as a starter in 16 of 17 games played. The program's first four-time all-Northeast-10 selection and Le Moyne's scoring leader each of her four years, Morano ranked in a tie for fourth in the Northeast-10 in points and goals scored. Morano, named the NE-10 Freshman of the Year and to the Third and All-Rookie Teams in 2009, selected to the First Team in 2010 and 2011 and the second team this year, recorded a point in nine of the 17 games and scored a goal in eight games.

Only the second player in the program's history to lead the team in points and goals scored each of her four years, Morano finished her 70-game career with 45 goals and 12 assists for 102 total points. Just the second Dolphin to record double-digit goals all four years of her career, Morano's 102 points and 45 goals each rank third in the program's history, while her 70 games played are tied for third and her 67 starts are tied for seventh. Her 45 goals are tied for 16th-most in the 28-year history of the Northeast-10 and are tied for the most among active players, while she is the 30th player to record at least 100 points.
