WSOC: CHRISTIE MORANO PICKS UP SECOND CONSECUTIVE FRESHMAN OF THE
WEEK HONORS
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College freshman forward
Christie Morano (Highland, N.Y./Highland) was
named the Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer freshman of the
week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday
afternoon.
Morano, named the freshman of the week for the second consecutive
week, tallied six points on three goals in Le Moyne's 0-1-1 week.
Morano scored the first three goals for the Dolphins in a 4-4 tie
with Southern New Hampshire last Wednesday. Morano tallied a hat
trick for the second consecutive game, becoming the first Dolphin
in over six years to register more than one hat trick in a
season.
Le Moyne (2-1-1, NE-10 0-1-1) returns to action on Tuesday at Pace
at 4:00 p.m.
