CHRISTINA HARRISON NAMED TO DAKTRONICS ALL-REGION SECOND TEAM

Manchester, N.H. - Le Moyne College junior forward Christina Harrison (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) has been named to the 2008 Daktronics women's soccer East Region Second Team, as voted on by the region's sports information directors and announced on Tuesday, November 11.

Harrison, named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team for the second time in her career, was a starter in 16 of 17 games played this season. Harrison tallied a career-high 28 points on 13 goals and two assists, ranking in the top-four in the conference in both points and goals scored. The 13 goals scored mark the most in a season by a Dolphin since 1995. In her career, Harrison has scored 25 goals and recorded 10 assists for 60 total points. Her 25 goals rank fifth in program history, while her 60 points are the sixth-best total on the career charts.

The teams are sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Le Moyne (9-6-2, NE-10 6-6-2) finished the season with an above .500 winning percentage for the third consecutive season and had its highest winning percentage (.588) since the 1993 season.
