Melissa Stevens (Goalkeeper / Camillus, NY- West
Genesee)
Melissa is a very dynamic and quick goalkeeper. We have seen her
make saves that most goalkeepers would not have a chance at saving.
She comes from a very strong high school and club program and has
proven herself against top competition. She is a very solid
technical goalkeeper and is extremely comfortable receiving the
ball with her feet. We will definitely use her as an outlet to
relieve pressure and switch the point of attack. We are very
excited for Melissa to join the program and have no doubts she can
make the step-up to the NE-10.
Kellie Walter (Defender / Marcellus, NY-
Marcellus)
“Bubs” can a presence at the back. She can play
anywhere across the back four and is also skilled enough to push on
into the midfield. Her ability to read the game and defend
patiently are just two of the many things we love about her. She is
a defender that loves defending and as good as she is defending,
she also has the ability to attack out of the back and we are
looking forward to seeing her get forward when she can. She has a
true passion for the game and we hope that will trickle down to
everyone in our squad. We think Bubs will adapt seamlessly and
really push our veteran defenders for significant playing
time.
Jordan Pelc (Midfielder /Auburn, NY-
Auburn)
Jordan is a true wide midfielder who will run at people and look
to attack the space behind them. It was an area of our team that we
knew we had to address and Jordan fills our needs and then some.
She brings pace and technical ability to our midfield and we will
be hoping she can cause some havoc with her speed both with and
without the ball. She works on both sides of the ball, but we will
be hoping she will put pressure on opposing defenders and give us
some added strength in the midfield. Jordan has the ability to make
an immediate impact on our team.
Danielle Gannon (Midfielder /Liverpool, NY-
Liverpool)
Danielle is the type of player that every team needs. She is an
extremely versatile player who has the ability to help us in a
number of different ways. She can play wide in the midfield, slot
in centrally or play as an outside back. She is very composed on
the ball and will pick out passes or take players on. We believe
she can come in and compete in the NE-10 straight away. Danielle
will definitely have a role to play right away and we look forward
to her making us a much more competitive team.
Rachel Farneti (Midfielder / Marcellus, NY-
Marcellus)
Rachel is one of the most creative midfielders we have seen in
quite some time. What we love about her is her unselfish play and
pass first mentality. She can pick out passes that most players
don’t even see. She also has all the technically ability to
take players on and score goals from midfield. We will be looking
for her to give us that spark in the center of the park and give us
a cutting edge in getting forward and creating chances. We believe
she is a player to step in and make us better from day one. Rachel
has all the tools to be a great midfielder and we feel she has the
opportunity to make a significant impact on our program and the
NE-10.
Jackie Coe (Defender/ Grand Island, NY – Grand
Island)
Jackie is a talented defender who can play anywhere
across the back four. She is quick and technical, which are two key
components of what we need in our defenders to play the way we
would like to. We will be primarily look to have her on the outside
so she can get forward and support the attack, but she could
certainly hold her own playing centrally. She is an intelligent
player who plays simple and will help us keep the ball out of the
back. She has good game awareness and positions herself well in
order to defend properly. We look forward to seeing how quickly she
can adapt to the physical level of the NE-10. Jackie has a great
deal of potential and we think she can come in and push our
returning defenders for playing time straight away.
