DOLPHINS FALL TO SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE 2-1 ON LAST MINUTE GOAL

MANCHESTER, N.H.- SHN’s Laurie Boland scored off a free kick with 1:19 remaining in regulation to lift Southern New Hampshire University to a 2-1 Northeast-10 women’s soccer victory over Le Moyne College at Larkin Field Saturday afternoon. The Penmen improve to 7-10-1 overall and 5-8 in NE-10 play, while the Dolphins are now 8-8-1 and 4-8-1 in the league.

Le Moyne kept it close the entire game until Boland’s scored off a free kick in the final minutes of regulation. Molly Yaman scored Le Moyne’s only goal in the game’s 50th minute and was assisted by Christina Harrison.

In goal, Stef Young of Southern New Hampshire had 6 saves, while Amanda Abbatiello had 3 saves for the Dolphins.

Le Moyne wraps up their regular season at home when they host Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday, October 23rd.at 3:00 PM.
