LE MOYNE FALLS TO SAINT MICHAEL'S IN OVERTIME 2-1

COLCHESTER, vt - The Le Moyne College women's soccer team dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season as they fell to Saint Michael's 2-1 in overtime. The loss drops the Dolphins to 7-4 on the year, 4-4 in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Freshman Caitlin O'Rourke open the scoring for the Dolphins as she netted her second goal from fellow freshman Riane Fletcher four minutes remaining in the first period.  Le Moyne took a 1-0 advantage into the break.

Saint Michael's would notch their first goal of the afternoon in the 59th minute as Carissa Gildea connected on a feed from Katie Murphy.  The score would remain tied at 1-1 through regulation.  The Purple Knights would score the game winner eight minutes into overtime when Kelly Ruch found the back of the net.

Senior Jessica Cochol recorded three saves in goal for the Dolphins and Molly Cole registered seven for Saint Michael's.

Le Moyne is back in action on Wednesday, October 3rd as they travel to Franklin Pierce for a 4:00 PM contest
