LE MOYNE MOVES TO 2-0 ON SEASON WITH VICTORY OVER DOMINICAN
Briarcliff, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College women's soccer season improved its record to 2-0 on the season with a 3-0 victory over Dominican in The Pace Kick-Off Classic on the campus of Pace University. Sophomore Christina Harrison scored her second goal in as many days off the bench to lift the Dolphins to the win.
Harrison's goal in the first period is all that the Dolphins would need as Senior Jessica Cochol registered six saves in the shutout.
Megan O'Shea scored her second goal of the season as she took a feed from freshman Riane Fletcher in the 66th minute. The Dolphins would strike quickly after the O'Shea goal as midfielder Jacki Rossi gave Le Moyne a 3-0 lead with her first goal of the year. Le Moyne out shot Dominican 34-9 on the afternoon.
Le Moyne will return to action on Wednesday, August 29th as they travel to Molloy College at 2:00 PM
