LE MOYNE'S MEG TURLEY NAMED TO NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Le Moyne College sophomore Meg Turley (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic team. Turley, a Biology major with a 3.56 grade point average, earned a spot on the third team.

Turley has scored one goal and assisted on another for the Dolphins in 14 starts and 15 games played this season. She has played a key role in the Le Moyne (8-7, 6-7 Northeast-10) team which currently sits in eighth place in the Northeast-10 Conference. With a win or a tie in Le Moyne's final contest of the regular season on Saturday against Southern N.H., the Dolphins would qualify for their first conference tournament since 2000.

To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors.
