Syracuse, NY The Le Moyne College community gathered Tuesday morning to break ground on a state-of-the-art multi-purpose turf complex. The complex will serve as the new home for both the women's and men's soccer and lacrosse programs and is a key component of Le Moyne's Achieving New Heights capital campaign that has already exceeded the orginal goal of $50 million by $35 million.

Syracuse, NY Le Moyne College President Dr. Fred Pestello announced today the ground breaking for a multi-purpose turf field complex will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at 10:00 AM at the Niland Athletic Complex. Syracuse, N.Y. Sophomore attacker Rebekah Elmer (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) tied her season-high with four goals but the Le Moyne College womens lacrosse team dropped its season finale to UAlbany, 12-10, in non-conference action at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins wrapped up the 2009 campaign with a 5-12 record.
