WOMEN'S LACROSSE: DOLPHINS SHOOT PAST NIAGARA 16-2.

SYRACUSE, NY. - The Le Moyne Dolphins women's lacrosse team scored 15 unanswered goals in defeating the Niagara Purple Eagles 16-2 in MAAC play. The win improves Le Moyne to 7-5, 2-0 on the season. Niagara drops to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Kylie Rosette (Watertown, N.Y/General Brown) and McKenzie Gray (Baldwinsville, N.Y. /Baldwinsville) led the Dolphin attack with three goals each. Whitney Vecchio (Watertown, N.Y. /General Brown) and Kari DeWick (Penn Yan, N.Y. /Penn Yan ) netted two goals each and six other Dolphins each scored one goal to round out the scoring.

Samantha Falcone (Syracuse, N.Y. /West Genesee) and Alex Dwyer (Syracuse, N.Y. /Westhill) split time in goal for the Dolphins and collectively registered five saves while the Le Moyne defense yielded only ten shots to the Purple Eagles.

Le Moyne next returns to action on Thursday, April 5th against Siena at 1:00 PM. This game is scheduleed to be broadcast locally on Time Warner Sports 26.
