Moyne’s first dozen points as the Dolphins opened up a 12-6
lead by the 14:17 mark of the first half. The six-point cushion was
Le Moyne’s largest of the afternoon and Saint Michael’s
battled back to knot the score eight times in the first 20 minutes
of play. At the 6:25 mark, Gladstone scored a fast break lay-up to
put Le Moyne ahead 23-18. But the Purple Knights scored the final

with 4:15 play. The Dolphins’ rally was punctuated by a trio

traded buckets down the stretch but a three-pointer by Caitlin
Quinn with the shot clock expiring gave the Purple Knights their
final push. With 15 seconds left, Logan Pintka secured the win for
Saint Michael’s with a three-point play to put her team up by
four points.
