DOLPHINS VICTORIOUS ON SENIOR DAY WHILE ‘THINKING PINK' AGAINST ST. ANSLEM, 58-46
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College women's basketball team surged past St. Anslem at the Ted Grant Court, sporting pink uniforms to support breast cancer awareness during their last home game. The Dolphins (13-11, 10-10 NE-10) defeated the Hawks (6-19, 3-17 NE-10), 58-46, pulling them to a .500 record in the Northeast-10 Conference.
The Dolphins allowed 11 field goals for the game and held the Hawks to 22% shooting from the field. Courtney Coryea had a double-double, leading the Dolphins with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kathleen Gladstone filled the stat sheet, collecting 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
The Hawks were led by Cassaundra Thorpe, who scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
Before the game, seniors Kim Wagner and Rhiannon Berry were recognized for contributing years of hard work and dedication to Le Moyne's basketball program.
