LE MOYNE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL 'THINKING PINK' ON SENIOR
DAY 
The Le Moyne women's basketball team is making an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer. On Feb. 16th, the team will participate in the WBCA's "Think Pink" initiative w hen the Dolphins host St. Anselm at 1:00 PM.
Fans are asked to wear pink on Saturday afternoon. Also, pink Dolphin vs. Cancer t-shirts will be available during the game for only $7.00 each. All proceeds will go to benefit cancer research.
Fans are also encouraged to participate in the "Charity Stripe" promotion during halftime of the women's game. For only $1.00, fans in attendance have the opportunity to shoot a free-throw. If successful, they will walk away with a Le Moyne Basketball t-shirt.
Additional promotions will take place courtesy of the NYS Health Department and the Le Moyne College Bookstore.
Saturday will mark the second game that Dolphins have worn the
special uniforms. The Dolphins sported the pink uniforms
against UMass-Lowell this past weekend and defeated the River Hawks
57-53.
The "Think Pink" initiative is a global, unified effort started last year by the WBCA to help raise awareness and show support as a community against breast cancer, the second leading cause of death for all women and the leading overall cause of death in women between the ages of 20-59. The "Think Pink" week for 2008 will be held February 8-17. To date, over 600 women's basketball teams across the nation have committed to helping the cause. The Dolphins will show support by wearing pink uniforms during the game.
All Le Moyne fans are encouraged to wear pink. The game will be full of promotions to generate funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. Tickets are available on gameday for $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 18 and under.
