LE MOYNE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO PACE UNIVERSITY FOR NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the sixth time in seven seasons under head coach Jeanne Dupree, the Le Moyne College women’s basketball team has qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference tournament. The Dolphins (9-18, 5-17 Northeast-10 Conference) enter the 12-team league tournament as the 11^th seed and will meet No. 6 seed Pace (20-7-15-7 Northeast-10) on Sunday at 2 p.m. Pace swept the two meetings between the teams this season, including a 58-53 win on Feb. 7.

Le Moyne, Merrimack and UMass Lowell tied for 11^th place in the league standings with five wins. The Dolphins swept Merrimack and UMass Lowell in their regular season meetings, so Le Moyne received the 11-seed. Merrimack swept the season series with UMass Lowell, thus the Warriors received the 12^th seed and UMass Lowell did not qualify for the league tournament.
