LE MOYNE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO NO. 24 STONEHILL ON
SATURDAY
EASTON, Mass. - On the strength
of consecutive conference wins, the Le Moyne College women's
basketball team takes to the road to battle Stonehill College in a
Northeast-10 Conference match up. The Dolphins (8-13, 4-12
Northeast-10) enter the weekend positioned 11th in the conference
standings. The Skyhawks (16-5, 11-5 Northeast-10) enter the contest
ranked 24th in the latest WBCA USA TODAY ESPN Top 25 women's
basketball poll.
Senior Lindsay Carr (Bronx, N.Y./Preston) scored
18 points and dished out a school-record 13 assists to pace Le
Moyne in a 64-52 win over Saint Michael's. For the season, Carr
ranks 4th in the Northeast-10 with 4.29 assists per game. Her 2.00
steals per game rank 10th in the conference. Junior Kim
Wagoner (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) leads a
Dolphins offense that scored 85 points in a Jan. 27 victory over
Merrimack. The shooting guard averages a team-best 11.4 points per
game. The Dolphins (73.0%) and the Skyhawks (72.8%) rank second and
third in the Northeast-10 in team free throw percentage.
