LE MOYNE'S KIM WAGONER AND LINDSAY CARR NAMED TO NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Le Moyne College junior Kim Wagoner (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and senior Lindsay Carr (Bronx, N.Y./Preston) have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic team. Wagoner earned a spot on the conference's first team, while Carr garnered a position on the third team. The Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic teams are chosen by a vote of the league's Sports Information Directors.

Wagoner, a Biology major with a 3.72 grade point average, leads the Dolphins with 10.8 points per game this season. In just three seasons with the Dolphins, Wagoner already ranks 14th on the program's all-time scoring list with 905 career points. She leads the program's all-time chart for free throw percentage with a 77.7% effort (230-for-296) and her career scoring average of 12.1 points per game is 12th on the program's all-time list. Wagoner aspires for a career as a veterinarian.

Carr, a Psychology major with a 3.62 grade point average, leads Le Moyne with 76 assists (4.0/game) this season. She is averaging 8.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game this season. She ranks fourth on the program's all-time list for assists average (2.9/game), eighth in free throws made (241), eighth in total assists (238) and 30th in career points. Carr completed her student teaching requirement in the fall semester.

To be named to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.

Le Moyne (6-13, 2-12 Northeast-10) returns home for a key Northeast-10 Conference contest against Merrimack on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Dolphins also play at home on Wednesday, January 31 at 5:30 p.m. against Saint Michael's and completes their home schedule on February 10 at 2 p.m. against UMass Lowell.
