LE MOYNE VOLLEYBALL SPLITS ON OPENING DAY OF WILDCAT
INVITATIONAL
New Castle, Del. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team
split a pair of matches on Friday, Aug. 29 on the opening day of
Wilmington’s Wildcat Invitational.
In their opening match of the afternoon, the Dolphins were swept
by West Chester 3-0. The Golden Rams took the opening set 25-20. In
the second set, Le Moyne fell by a score of 25-18, while in the
third set West Chester won 25-19.
In the final match of the evening, Le Moyne knocked off Nyack,
3-0. The Dolphins took the first set, 25-15. Le Moyne finished off
the match with consecutive wins by the score of 25-18.
Le Moyne (1-1) returns to the court on Saturday, Aug. 30 against
East Stroudsburg at 9 a.m and against host Wilmington at 1 p.m.
