JENNIFER FARRELLY NAMED NE-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, MA - Following a 4-0 weekend for the Dolphins, junior Jennifer Farrelly was named the Northeast-10 Conference softball player of the week for April 7th. Farrelly led the Dolphins with a .545 batting average and collected two wins in the circle.
At the plate, Farrelly connected for four home runs and one double in driving in eight runs for the first-place Dolphins ( 17-7, 6-0 NE-10). She also recorded two victories in the circle for Le Moyne allowing one unearned and striking out seven in eight-plus innings.
This marks the second time this season a Dolphin was named Player of the Week. Senior Sarah Reed collected the honor on March 10th.
Le Moyne travels to St. Rose on Monday for an NE-10 doubleheader and host Mercy on Thursday in a doubleheader at the Niland Athletic Complex.
