LE MOYNE’S RICKY CHIDSEY AND NICOLE MURPHY RECEIVE NORTHEAST-10 SWIMMING ATHLETE OF THE WEEKSOUTH EASTON, Mass.
Men’s Swimming, Ricky Chidsey a junior from Liverpool,
N.Y. received NE-10 Athlete of the Week. Chidsey led the way for
the Dolphins Friday the 8th, in their loss to Hamilton, capturing
four first place finishes. He was also part of the winning 200
medley relay (1:37.24) and captured individual victories in the 50
backstroke (24.20), 100 backstroke (52.05) and the 200 IM
(1:58.35).
Nicole Murphy, a sophomore from Camillus, N.Y. received
Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week in the Dolphins victory
over Hamilton 171-117. Murphy led the Dolphins by capturing four
first place finishes. She was also a part of the 200 medley relay
(1:55.13) that captured the first win of the day. Followed with
individual victories in the 50 breaststroke (32.82), 100
breaststroke (1:10.97) and the 200 IM (2:16.51).
The Le Moyne Swimming team’s next meet will be on the road
Wednesday the 27 vs. UNYSCSA.
