DOLPHINS COMPETE AT NOTRE DAME IN THE '08 NATIONAL CATHOLIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

NOTRE DAME, IN - The Le Moyne College cross country teams traveled to the University of Notre Dame to compete in the 2008 National Catholic Championships. Dolphin freshman Gina Micaroni led the Dolphins with a 34^th place finish in a field of 287 runners, many of which compete at the Division I level.

The women finished 21^st overall in a 35-team field. Senior Kelsey Ryan placed 61^st overall with a time of 19:35. She was followed by Chelsea Gibson (144^th), Alycia Hall (183^rd), Kate Brondum (186^th), Stephanie Singe (256^th), Anna Rich (257^th) and Lauren Walters (258^th).

On the men's side, Le Moyne placed 29^th overall in a field of 33. The Dolphins were led by Peter Gratien's 89^th place finish in a field of 267. Gratien was followed by Ralph Kopecky (182^nd), Charlie Deragon (215^th), Michael Notar (243^rd) and Josh Graves (245^th).

Le Moyne will next prepare for the Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University on Friday, October 3^rd.
