DOLPHINS COMPETE AT NOTRE DAME IN THE '08 NATIONAL CATHOLIC CHAMPIONSHIPS
NOTRE DAME, IN - The Le Moyne College cross country teams traveled to the University of Notre Dame to compete in the 2008 National Catholic Championships. Dolphin freshman Gina Micaroni led the Dolphins with a 34th place finish in a field of 287 runners, many of which compete at the Division I level.
The women finished 21st overall in a 35-team field. Senior Kelsey Ryan placed 61st overall with a time of 19:35. She was followed by Chelsea Gibson (144th), Alycia Hall (183rd), Kate Brondum (186th), Stephanie Singe (256th), Anna Rich (257th) and Lauren Walters (258th).
On the men's side, Le Moyne placed 29th overall in a field of 33. The Dolphins were led by Peter Gratien's 89th place finish in a field of 267. Gratien was followed by Ralph Kopecky (182nd), Charlie Deragon (215th), Michael Notar (243rd) and Josh Graves (245th).
Le Moyne will next prepare for the Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University on Friday, October 3rd.
