Men's Cross Country team ranked Ninth in USTFCCCA Division II Northeast Regional Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The men's cross country team is currently ranked ninth in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II Northeast Regional Poll. The men are coming off their best team finish of the year as they finished in the top five at the University of Buffalo Stampede Cross Country Invite.
The Northeast Regional rankings are as follows: 1. Stonehill 2. UMass-Lowell 3. Southern Connecticut 4. CW Post 5. Merrimack 6. Bentley 7. Adelphi 8. New Haven 9. Le Moyne 10. Bryant. Stonehill is ranked 11th and UMass-Lowell 16th, in the USTFCCCA Division II National Poll as well.
Patrick Stagnitta (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and Peter Gratien (East Syracuse, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) have led the way for the team as they have been the top finishers for the Dolphins at each of the two events the team has competed in this year.
