Men's Cross Country picked ninth in the Northeast region

Syracuse, N.Y.- The 2006 Men's Cross Country Northeast Regional poll is out and the Dolphins are ranked ninth. Le Moyne is one of seven Northeast-10 Conference representatives in the top 10 rankings.

Le Moyne is coming off an 11^th place finish at last season's XC Northeast Regional. Junior Patrick Stagnitta (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and Sophomore Peter Gratien (East Syracuse, N.Y./ East Syracuse-Minoa) finished back-to-back to lead the Dolphin's (Gratien 46^th, Stagnitta 47^th). Stagnitta also bested all Le Moyne runners in the Northeast-10 Championships in late October. He finished 29^th overall and pitched in for a 10^th place finish.

The Dolphins will slip on their running shoes for the first time this Saturday September 2^nd at 11 a.m. as they travel to Colgate University and compete in the Harry Lang Invitational.

The Heights will be hosting the annual Le Moyne Invitational on September 30^th at 11 a.m. The 5 mile run takes place on the college's beautiful landscape.
