MTEN: SULLIVAN EARNS FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK HONORS

South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College freshman Daniel Sullivan (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) earned his second freshman of the week honors in men's tennis, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Sullivan picked up two victories at first singles and teamed up with fellow freshman Brian Rice (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) at first doubles to secure two more wins. Sullivan has now won two matches in a row and picked up his first win at first singles.

In the match against Assumption, Sullivan defeated Steve Tlimacki 6-3, 6-1 and teamed up with Rice to defeat Tlumacki/Tariq Sheikh 8-3. Against Franklin Pierce, Sullivan beat Helder Noguiera 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-7 and once again teamed up with Rice to beat Noguiera/Sam Aubin 8-5.

The Le Moyne College men's tennis team continues their home stretch when they take on American International on Tuesday, April 7^th at 3:00 PM.
