MTEN: LE MOYNE CRUISES TO 9-0 VICTORY OVER RAVENS IN NE-10
ACTION
SYRACUSE, NY - The Le Moyne College men's tennis team won
their second straight match improving their record to 6-9 with a
9-0 defeat of Franklin Piece on Sunday at the Niland Athletic
Complex. With consecutive shutouts, the Dolphins improve their
conference record to 4-5 on the year. Franklin Pierce falls to 1-7
overall, 1-6 in the NE-10.
Le Moyne's five freshman, along with senior Ben Jordan (Cassville,
NY / Mt. Markham), secured singles victories to pace the Dolphin
attack. Dan Sullivan (Auburn, NY / Auburn)
battled with Helder Noguiera through three sets to earn his seventh
win of the season. Brian Rice (Syracuse, NY / Westhill),
Andrew Gleason (Gorham, Maine / Cheverus) and Jordan
earned 6-0, 6-0 victories.
The Dolphins look to extend their win streak to three games when
they host AIC on Tuesday, April 7th at 3:00 p.m.
