R. CHIDSEY & J. DUMARY NAMED NORTHEAST-10 MEN'S SWIMMING ATHLETES OF THE WEEK.
SYRACUSE, NY.- Le Moyne men's swimming and diving teammates, Ricky Chidsey and Jerry Dumary, have been named Northeast-10 Men's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week. Both Chidsey and Dumary earned honors with their exceptional performances at the 2008 UNYSCSA Championships this past weekend.
Chidsey (Jr. Liverpool, N.Y.), helped Le Moyne to an 8th place finish at the 2008 UNYSCSA Championships placing first in two events. Chidsey placed first in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:50 and was also a member of the 400 Yard Freestyle team that placed first with a time of 3:08.57. Chidsey also was a member of the 200 Yard Medley Relay team that qualified for NCAA competition later this month with a time of 1:33.35.
Dumary (Fr., Ballston Spa, N.Y.), also helped Le Moyne to an 8th place finish at the 2008 UNYSCSA Championships placing first in two events. Dumary placed first in the 200 Yard breaststroke with a time of 2:09.10. He was also a member of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team that placed first with a time of 3:08.57. Additionally, was a member of the 200 Medley Relay team that qualified for NCAA competition later this month with a time of 1:33.35.
Chidsey, Dumary, and Lowrie, along with the Le Moyne 200 Medley Relay team will compete Mar. 12 thru Mar. 15 at the NCAA Regional Division II Championships.
