SHAWN BANKEY WINS THREE EVENTS AS LE MOYNE OPENS 2007 WITH MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING WIN OVER NAZARETH
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Shawn Bankey won three events to lead the Le Moyne men's swimming and diving team to a 177-110 win at Nazareth. Ricky Chidsey, Will Clayton, and Ryan DeWolfe won two events each. The win came in Le Moyne's first meet after a winter break training trip to Barbados.
Chidsey set a pool record with a time of 59.94 in the 100 backstroke. He also topped the 200 back in 2:11.61. Bankey's three wins came in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 IM. Will Clayton topped the 100 breast and 200 breast, Ryan DeWolfe touched first in the 400 free and 800 free, while Ryan Lowrie won the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly. Tom O'Connell also won the 200 free.
The Dolphins return to action on Saturday at home against Alfred.
