Men's Swimming drops 167-133 decision to Oswego, Ricky Chidsey best in three events
Oswego, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College Men's Swimming team fell to Oswego this past weekend at Laker Pool on the Campus of SUNY-Oswego by a score of 167-133. Sophomore Ricky Chidsey (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) bested the competition in three events while junior Ryan Lowrie (Johnson City, N.Y./Johnson City) added two wins to guide the Dolphins.
Sophomore Ricky Chidsey swam past the competition touching first in three events and grouping up for a medley win at Saturday's meet. Chidsey took the 100 Backstroke in 54.06, 100 Freestyle in a time of 48.06, and won the 200 Yard IM in 2:03.88. Ricky also paired up with senior's Will Clayton (Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy) and Shawn Bankey (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee), and Ryan Lowrie to best in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a combined time of 3:42.59. Lowrie was top in the 100 and 200 Yard Butterfly with times of 54:42 and 2:07.46. Will Clayton also added a win in the 100 Breaststroke touching in 1:05.07.
The Dolphins will take the pool Saturday Oct. 28th against Utica
here at Le Moyne College. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will
take place at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool.
