MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING: ROB SEABURY AND JAMES SPENDLEY NAMED TO NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Seniors Rob Seabury (Fulton, N.Y.) and James Spendley (Somersworth, N.H.) have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team. Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Conference Sports Information Directors.

Seabury, a Biochemistry major, carries a 3.34 grade point average. At the league winter championship, he finished ninth in the 100 back (57.96) and 13th in the 200 back (2:12.56). Seabury was part of the 400 relay team that finished third at the Northeast-10 Championship.

Spendley, a Biology major, carries a 3.79 grade point average. At the league winter championship, he finished fifth in the 1M Diving. He was ninth in the diving at the one-meter diving at the UNYSCSA championship.

To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.
