MSOC: STEVE WHITE EARNS SECOND NORTHEAST-10 GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
HONORS OF THE SEASON
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College senior goalkeeper
Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) was named
the Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer goalkeeper of the week, as
announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
White, honored by the conference for the second time this season
and the sixth time in his career, registered 11 saves and a 0.00
goals against average in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. White recorded nine
saves in the Dolphins' 4-0 win at American International on
Wednesday and made two saves in Le Moyne's 2-0 victory over Saint
Anselm on Saturday. With the shutouts, White became the program's
all-time leader in career shutouts with 20. For the season, White
has posted a 0.81 goals against average and made 29 saves in 666:37
between the pipes for the Dolphins.
Le Moyne (5-1-1, Northeast-10 2-1), which is unbeaten at home over
its last 13 matches, returns to action on Wednesday against
Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. The Ravens have ended the season for
the Dolphins in the NCAA Tournament each of the past two years.
