MSOC: FOUR DOLPHINS SCORE AS NO. 23 LE MOYNE POSTS 4-0 WIN AT AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL

Ludlow, Mass. - Juniors Sean Lawlor (Kirkham, Preston/Baines School) and Zach Kuzemka (Chenango Forks, N.Y./Chenango Forks/Fairfield) scored 14 seconds apart in the first half to lead 23rd-ranked Le Moyne College to a 4-0 win over American International in Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Lusitano Stadium.

Lawlor gave the Dolphins the only goal they would need as he knocked in a corner kick by sophomore Marcus Debottis (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) at the 15:54 mark of the first half. Following the restart of play, Kuzemka doubled the Le Moyne lead as he tallied an unassisted goal 14 seconds later. Over the final 28:52 of the stanza, the Yellow Jackets registered a 5-1 edge in shots, but could not put a goal on the board.

Junior midfielder Joe Viviano (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) added to Le Moyne's lead in the 78th minute as his shot deflected off an AIC defender into the goal. Junior forward Angelo Reina (Frankfort, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) was credited with his first assist of the season on the play. With just under eight minutes remaining in the match, Reina scored his sixth goal of the season after beating his defender in a one-on-one situation. With the goal, Reina has scored in each of the Dolphins' four victories this season.

The Yellow Jackets registered a 22-13 advantage in shots, including 13-7 in the final 45 minutes, while each team took five corner kicks. Senior goalkeeper Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) registered nine saves in the contest in posting his 19th career shutout, which ties Tim Mann '05 and Mike Williams '96 for first on the program's career chart. Ryan Brooks-Newman made three saves in 82:54 of action for AIC.

Le Moyne (4-1-1, NE-10 1-1) returns to action on Saturday against St. Anselm at 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on www.lemoynedolphins.tv.
