MATT PECHEONE AND STEVE WHITE HONORED BY NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE

South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne senior midfielder Matt Pecheone (New Hartford, N.Y./New Hartford) and junior goalkeeper Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) have garnered Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer weekly honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Oct. 20.

Pecheone, an all-conference and all-region selection as a junior, was named conference co-player of the week after registering six points in the Dolphins' 2-0 week. Pecheone opened the week by tallying both goals in a 2-1 overtime win at American International on Tuesday, Oct. 14, including the game-winner in the sixth minute of the first overtime period. Pecheone added a goal in Le Moyne's 3-0 win over Saint Anselm in his final career home regular-season match.

White, honored by the conference for the fourth time in his career, was named the goalkeeper of the week after posting six saves and a 0.48 goals against average in a 2-0 week. White recorded two saves in a 2-1 overtime win at American International on Oct. 14 and registered four saves to post his sixth shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm on Saturday.

Le Moyne (11-3-2, NE-10 8-3-1) returns to action on Tuesday, October 21st as they travel to St. Rose to wrap up its Northeast-10 Conference schedule.
