Dolphins extend win streak to 4 games against Saint
Anselm on Senior Day
SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Dolphins extended their win streak to four
games by beating the Hawks of Saint Anselm 2-1. During the current
win streak, Le Moyne has outscored their opponents 7-1, a statistic
that clearly highlights the quality of defense the Dolphins have
played. With this win Le Moyne improve to 13-2-2 overall and 9-2-2
in Northeast 10 conference play.
Saint Anselm took the initial lead with a goal by Sam Lamptey in
the 38th minute. The Dolphins responded with a goal by senior Eric
Macias just five minutes later. Macias was greeted with a warm
reception by the fans as it was Eric’s and the rest of the
seniors’ final regular season home game.
Just 13 seconds into the second half, freshman forward Angelo Reina
scored to put the Dolphins ahead for good.
Le Moyne wrap up their regular season on Wednesday, October 24th
when they travel to take on Nyack.
