Dolphins grind out a victory over Southern New Hampshire on Alumni Day

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- In a hard fought, defensive battle Le Moyne’s men’s soccer team prevailed over Southern New Hampshire at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex. With the victory Le Moyne moves to 11-2-2 overall and 8-2-2 in the Northeast 10 conference. Southern New Hampshire falls to 4-5-5, 4-4-2 in the NE-10.

Both teams were scoreless at the end of the first half and the way both teams were playing defensively it did not seem that any second half surge of offense would be present. It took a goal by Steve Blackwell, which was deflected by teammate Brandon Morse, to put the Dolphins ahead for good.

Le Moyne returns to the Niland Athletic Complex for their final home game when they are set to take on Saint Anslem on Saturday, October 20th at 1:00 PM.
