WILMINGTON UPSETS #21 LE MOYNE IN
MEN'S SOCCER OPENER
NEW CASTLE, Del. - Dan
Mangat made 16 saves to lead Wilmington to a 3-1 win over
No. 21 Le Moyne in the men's soccer opener for both teams.
Sophomore Brandon Morse

scored the only goal for the Dolphins.
All of the scoring took place in the second half. Sean Reilly put the hosts up 1-0 in the 61st minute. Nine minutes later, Morse knotted the score at one with his third career goal. Sargbah Tarpeh netted the go-ahead goal and Mohammed Kabbia added an insurance tally to lift Wilmington to the season-opening victory.
Le Moyne outshot its hosts 20-11, including a 16-8 edge in shots on goal. However, Magnat turned aside nine shots in the opening half and seven in the second half. Le Moyne redshirt freshman Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) made five saves in his collegiate debut.
En route to its first NCAA tournament berth since 1977, Le Moyne blanked Wilmington 7-0 last season in its home opener. The Dolphins will meet Goldey-Beacom tomorrow at noon.
