DOLPHINS TO APPEAR ON TIME WARNER SPORTS 26 SATURDAY

SYRACUSE
, N.Y. - The Le Moyne men’s soccer contest Saturday against Saint Anselm will appear on Time Warner Sports Channel 26 this Saturday on tape delay at 7 p.m.

Le Moyne is coming off its biggest victory of the year, a 1-0 decision over No. 13 Southern Connecticut. In the win senior goalkeeper Tim Mann (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch)  made 11 saves and propelled the Dolphins to knock off the Owls, who were previously unbeaten in the Northeast-10 Conference. Junior Ryan Cunningham (Baldwinsville, N.Y./Baldwinsville) netted the lone goal, which came off a feed from senior midfielder Mariel Lako (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield) just under three minutes into the second half. It marked Cunningham’s fifth goal of the season.

The Dolphins improved to 10-3-2 overall and 8-3-1 in the Northeast-10, good for second in the Conference. Le Moyne has won 10 or more games for the program-record fifth consecutive season.

Saturday’s kick-off is set for 2 p.m. at Le Moyne College with senior day activities scheduled before the contest.
