SYRACUSE, NY All-American goalie Doug McIver 08 led a Dolphin defense that garnered five NCAA Statistical Championships as announced by the NCAA earlier this week. McIver won individual honors for Goals-Against-Average (3.96) and save percentage (.681). Team honors were awarded for Scoring Defense (3.94), Man-Down Defense (7-68 / .103) and Winning Percentage (16-1).

Foxborough, Mass. Senior goalkeeper Daniel Sciulla made seven saves in the fourth quarter and USILA Player of the Year Greg Cerar scored four second half goals to lead #2 C.W. Post to an 8-7 victory over #1 Le Moyne College in the 2009 Division II Mens Lacrosse National Championship game on Sunday evening in front of 24, 072 fans at Gillette Stadium.

SYRACUSE, NY Senior net minder Doug McIver (Altamont, NY / Albany Academy) and junior defenseman Drew Bezek (Lowville, NY / Lowville) received national honors as the best player in Division II at the respective position from the USILA. McIver earned the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award as the top goalie in the nation while Bezek was the named the William C. Schmeisser Award recipient as the nations top defenseman.
