DAN SHEEHAN TO BE INDUCTED INTO UPSTATE NEW YORK CHAPTER OF THE US LACROSSE HALL OF FAME ON SUNDAY

Camillus, N.Y. – Le Moyne College head men's lacrosse coach Dan Sheehan will be inducted into the Upstate New York Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in a ceremony on Sunday at The Links at Erie Village located in East Syracuse.

Joining Sheehan in the 2013 induction class are Jamie Archer, LaVerne Doctor, Bob Elmer, Tom Gravante, Chris Lindsey, Jeff McCormick and Casey Powell.

In 16 seasons as head coach of the Dolphins, Sheehan has posted an overall record of 220-40 and captured four NCAA Division II National Championships – 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2013. His teams have appeared in 11 NCAA tournaments and made seven appearances in the national championship game in the last 10 years. A seven-time Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year, Sheehan has led the Dolphins to 11 Northeast-10 Conference Championships and is 139-8 in conference play. Since the turn of the century, the Dolphins are 208-23 overall and 128-4 in NE-10 play, including 12 undefeated seasons in the span.
