LE MOYNE MEN'S LACROSSE TO BE RECOGNIZED AT SYRACUSE CITY HALL THURSDAY

Syracuse, N.Y. - The 2013 NCAA Division II National Champion Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team will be invited to City Hall on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. to be recognized by Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner. Joining members of the team will be Le Moyne College President Dr. Fred Pestello, along with Dolphin Head Coach Dan Sheehan.

The Dolphins claimed the program's fourth national championship by defeating Mercyhurst 11-10 in front of 22,511 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Senior goalkeeper Jeff White was named the Most Outstanding Player of the title game after making 13 saves in net. Le Moyne tied a program record with 18 wins on the season and captured the program's 11th Northeast-10 Conference Championship.
