MLAX: MCIVER EARNS FOURTH CONSECUIVE NORTHEAST-10 WEEKLY HONORS,
LE MOYNE REMAINS RANKED NO. 2
Syracuse, N.Y. - Senior goalkeeper Doug McIver (Altamont,
N.Y./Albany Academy) was named Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of
the Week for the fourth consecutive time as announced by the
conference on Monday afternoon. On Wednesday afternoon, McIver
added to his weekly honors as he was named the ECAC Co-Defensive
Player of the Week.
McIver, who is 4-0 this season, made eight saves and allowed five
goals against #3 C.W. Post. McIver, who has played every minute in
goal for the Dolphins, has only allowed 18 goals on the season for
a 4.50 goals against average and made 36 saves for a .667 save
percentage.
The Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team was ranked #2 for the
sixth consecutive week in the USILA poll released on Monday. With
the win over #3 C.W. Post last week, the Dolphins registered a vote
at the top of the poll for the first time this season. The Dolphins
will travel to face-off against conference-foe Pace on Wednesday,
March 25th at 3:30 PM.
