MLAX: CHADDERDON AND WHITE EARN NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WEEKLY
HONORS
South Easton, Mass. – Le Moyne College junior midfielder
Matt Chadderdon (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) and freshman
goalkeeper Jeff White (Buffalo, N.Y./Canisius HS)
have earned Northeast-10 Conference men’s lacrosse weekly
honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday
afternoon.
Chadderdon, named the conference’s player of the week for the
second time in his career, scored five goals to lead the
second-ranked Dolphins to an 8-6 win over fifth-ranked Limestone on
Sunday in Severna Park, Maryland. Chadderdon, a second team USILA
All-America selection as a sophomore, tallied four of his goals in
the second quarter, including a pair if the opening 1:51 of the
period.
White, named the conference’s goalkeeper of the week, made
eight saves in the 8-6 victory over the Saints. White, a member of
the Iroquois Nationals Under-19 team, registered three of his saves
in the final quarter of play.
Le Moyne (2-0), which has won 35 consecutive regular season games,
returns to the field on Thursday, March 11 against Catawba at 4:00
p.m. on the campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland,
Florida.
